You may have heard us talk about the Jalan Journey, so what is it exactly? The Jalan Journey is your experience from the moment you step into Jalan to the moment you leave. It’s the complimentary amenities and unique experience that set your visits apart from other spa experiences.

Our focus at Jalan is to combine inspiration from nature, our eastern roots, and the latest practices and technologies in modern skincare to create an accessible and unique experience for all. We want to ensure that you leave feeling your best emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Beginning 开始

Arrival at Jalan

Your journey begins the minute you step into Jalan. You’ll be greeted by our friendly concierge in the lobby surrounded by a fresh botanical wall, soft lighting, and aromatherapy to awaken your senses.

You can arrive 15-minutes early to enjoy the complimentary foot soak or 5-minutes early if you’d prefer to head directly into your service. If you would like to unwind in either the Meditation Garden or Zen Lounge prior to your service, you are welcome to arrive earlier than 15-minutes to begin your Jalan Journey.

Upon checking in at the front desk, you’ll be invited to leave your shoes in the cubbies in the lobby area and change into a pair of our comfortable sandals. A concierge will then guide you back through the moving art area to wash your hands and then to your foot soak or to relax in one of our lounges before your spa treatment begins. Lockers are available, but we recommend leaving all personal belongings and valuables at home.

Foot Soak

An effervescent foot bath soothes your feet in the time-honored Asian tradition. A beautiful stone basin filled with warm water and natural sea salt infused with essential oils will help enhance the flow of energy in your body, promote blood circulation, and leave your feet supple and smooth. The foot soak begins the process of relaxation and healing, as the feet are the foundation of your body’s energy system.

This holistic health remedy dates back hundreds of years in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Your feet contain more sweat glands and nerve endings per square centimeter than other areas of your body so foot care is crucial to your overall health, and a beneficial part of the body to begin alleviating ailments. We invite you to also explore the effectiveness of reflexology, an ancient technique that focuses on healing the body through the activation of various reflex points on the feet. By activating these points, reflex responses are caused in the corresponding body parts.

Please note that if you have multiple services in one day, the foot soak will take place between services.

Meditation Garden & Zen Lounge

Freedom begins in a sanctuary inspired by nature, with personal reflection. Release weight and burden from everyday life as you unwind in the serenity of our Meditation Garden or Zen Lounge. Relax amidst Asian and nature-inspired scenery, evoking a sense of life and growth. Some choose to meditate, read, or simply reflect. The space is yours to enjoy before your spa treatment.

Celebrate your connection to self and transformation with the ritual of tea. Two types of tea, water, and coconut cookies are available in both lounges for you to enjoy after your treatment.

Our unique Lemongrass and Ginger Tea, a longtime guest favorite, is only available at Jalan and brewed in-house with fresh ingredients each morning. Lemongrass is a tropical plant that carries a distinct fragrance. This refreshing tea is high in Vitamin C, nourishing your body and giving your skin a healthy glow.

You can also choose our signature Red Date Tea to awaken your senses and assist in your transition from a meditative state into a gentle readiness to re-enter your day.

Once you’re ready to check out, you can head back into the front lobby area, where you’ll see the Jalan Shop. We believe that what you put on your skin is just as important as the food you put in your body. As such, we carry only skincare and body products made exclusively with high-quality plant compounds, botanical oils, herbal extracts, vitamins, and minerals to nourish you from the outside in. You can shop a wide variety of skincare products, many of which may have been used during your facial or body treatment. If you receive a facial, your esthetician will give you a personalized skin type form with product recommendations specific to your skin. Our lifestyle products, all from sustainable businesses, range from hand-poured candles, to flax seed neck and eye pillows. We invite you to take a bit of your Jalan Journey home with you, continuing your self-care.
