FAQS
What is it and how does it work?
Infrared Heat: Penetrates deep into muscle and tissue, promoting detoxification, relaxation, and circulation at a cellular level.
Red Light Therapy: Emits specific wavelengths that support skin rejuvenation, collagen production, and cellular repair.
Chromotherapy: Uses specific wavelengths and colored LED lights to influence mood and mental states, transforming your session into a sensory reset.
What do the different colors actually do?
Each color is believed to have a unique effect on the body and mind.
See the chart to learn the benefits of our available colors:
red, pink, purple/violet, turquoise, blue, yellow, green, and orange.
How long should I stay in the sauna for the best results?
Beginners: Start with 15 minutes at a lower temperature (110-120 degrees) to see how your body reacts.
Regular Users: Most people find the "sweet spot" at 30–45 minutes.
What to expect: Before, During, and After
Before: Hydrate well throughout the day. Avoid heavy meals 1-2 hours prior. Wear comfortable clothing (swimwear is fine; a robe will be provided)
During: You’ll sit or recline comfortably in the sauna while the heat gently builds. Relax, read, meditate, and enjoy the present. A typical session is 30-45 minutes.
After: Your session will conclude with a cold towel, and we invite you to cool down & rehydrate in our meditation garden.
Is it safe for everyone?
While generally very safe, there are a few important exceptions:
Pregnancy: It is generally advised to avoid infrared saunas as they raise core body temperature significantly.
Medical Implants: If you have surgical implants (like rods or joints), consult your doctor, as they may reflect infrared waves differently.
Sensitivity: If you are prone to seizures or have light sensitivity, consult a professional before using the chromotherapy feature.
