Announcement Regarding Temporary Closure At Jalan Facial Spa
Temporary Closure effective January 22, 2021 through early February
As you know, at Jalan we've been taking COVID-19 safety and precautions very seriously requiring facial masks for all staff and guests, temperature checks upon arrival, complete room sanitization between services, hospital grade air filters throughout the spa, bi-weekly testing of all staff, thorough cleaning of the spa hourly throughout the day and every evening after close, and operating at 25% capacity.
Despite all these efforts, unfortunately we've had two staff members who were otherwise asymptomatic test positive as of Friday, January 22nd. Upon learning this, we cancelled remaining appointments on Friday and through the weekend and have contacted the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment for further guidance.
Transparency & keeping Guests Informed
All guests impacted have been personally contacted. While staff wear facial masks at all times and massage clients are required to keep masks on during their service, we want to proceed with an abundance of caution, with full transparency and responsibility under these circumstances.
We know this was short notice and inconvenient for guests whose appointments we've had to cancel, so we appreciate your understanding as we put safety for guests and staff above all else at this time.
The spa will be temporarily closed to allow staff to self-isolate, professional deep cleaning of the spa, and adherence to CDPHE guidelines before re-opening in early February. Please stay tuned for an announcement on exact dates once we know more.
We appreciate all the support and trust you've shown for Jalan and we look forward to welcoming you back when we're able to re-open safely. While COVID-19 cases are trending downward and vaccines are rolling out, this is a reminder that every one of us in the community has a role to remain diligent.
